"By shaping with clay, I can find the directions of movement of my objects with my hands. Surfaces can be tightened easily and edges can arise from these surfaces. I am interested in the dynamics between several forms, which can thus reproduce bodily gestures and movements and at the same time convey a feeling. My forms react to each other and there is an interplay of impulses. They give impulses and receive impulses. I want to create clear forms, which is also expressed on a formal level by the clarity of the material. Stone and concrete are materials that embody stringency and great plasticity. The permanence and the enormous presence of the material stone also reinforce my intention to represent the movements and impulses of the shapes in a clear way. A surface and feel that puts the shape of the objects in the foreground. Thanks to the natural material, the form also gains vitality, inner strength and movement at the same time."
